Our lateral liners feature the same properties as our traditional dry nonwoven felt tube product that is saturated with a polyester, vinyl ester or non-styrene resin. Lateral liners are often constructed with specialized materials to enhance flexibility and performance for differing installation equipment and techniques. Lateral liners are available in sizes ranging from 3 inches to 6 inches in diameter, with a standard thickness range of 3 mm to 6 mm.
Liner Products can manufacture diameter and thickness transitions into the tube to account for in-the-pipe diameter changes as well as varying design requirements throughout the length of the pipe. We can also provide transitions at the end of the tube to facilitate installations in which clearance in the access point significantly differs from the diameter of the pipeline.
Typically used with our pull-in liners as a bladder to ensure full-expansion of the liner, our calibration hoses are manufactured with either a relatively thin coated felt tube or, in small diameters, from the PVC coated material used in our pre-liners. The calibration hose is typically used for the duration of the installation and curing phases, then removed and disposed of.
Manufactured from high performance PVC coated fabrics, our pre-liners are formed by heat-welding this material to the appropriate pipe size. The pre-liner provides protection against excessive infiltration during the installation process. Pre-liners are also valuable when lining pipes with bituminous coatings which can inhibit the cure of the applied resin system.
Rope ends can be tailored to the customer’s specific method of installation and are extremely valuable during the entire process. Whether needed to hold back the inversion, pull-in the liner, attach lay-flat hoses or provide a downstream termination point, we can supply the appropriate end for the job.
